KENTWOOD—Due to a mechanical issue, milling work on Stateline Road has been postponed until next week.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that milling work on Stateline Road will now begin on Monday, Feb. 14. Miller said the delay was caused by mechanical issues involving the contractor’s mill.

Miller said signs are being posted, and work will be concentrated on the area starting at McElveen Road and moving east along Stateline Road for five miles.

Once milling work is completed, crews will begin the overlay process, Miller said. All work is weather-permitting.

Miller reminds motorists that intermittent lane closures can be expected during the construction period.
