AMITE—In preparation for the 2022 overlay program, several cross-drain replacement projects have been scheduled starting next week.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will need to close the following roadways to replace failing culverts:

*On Wednesday, March 2, Peck Martin Road and Willie McCoy Road in the Roseland area;

*On Thursday, March 3, Rohner Road in the Husser area;

*On Friday, March 4, Joe Dyson Road in the Kentwood area;

*On Monday, March 7, and Tuesday, March 8, Dummyline Road in the Amite area.

Miller said detours will be posted, and no traffic will be allowed to enter the area or leave during the construction period, which is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., daily. No roads will be closed overnight.

All work is scheduled on a weather-permitting basis, Miller said.
