TICKFAW—Improving weather conditions will make way for several road projects planned next week around Tangipahoa Parish.

Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be working on a major cross-drain replacement project Monday and Tuesday on Fedele Road in the Tickfaw area. Fedele Road will be closed at the construction site starting the morning of Monday, April 18, and will not reopen until the job is completed on Tuesday, April 19.

Cross drain replacement projects are also scheduled, weather permitting, on the following dates:

*Monday, April 18: Beckendorf Road in Hammond;

*Tuesday, April 19: Ott Lane in Hammond; and

*Wednesday, April 20: Milan Drive (Hammond), Nicholas Circle (Hammond), and Bradford Lane (Loranger).

Miller said much of this work is being done in anticipating future overlay plans. He said signs will be posted in the construction zones, and he asks that motorists use care in the area.
