AMITE—Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that Rogers Road north of US 190 will be closed at the railroad tracks early next week as crews make emergency repairs to the crossing.

Miller said Canadian National will close the Rogers Road crossing starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 11, and it will remain closed until approximately 3 p.m., on Tuesday, March 12, for repairs.

No traffic will be allowed at the crossing during this closure.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced today that a portion of Briar Patch Cemetery Road will be closed for approximately two days this week as movie crews work in that area.

Miller said Briar Patch Cemetery Road will be closed from White to Neal Roads on Wednesday, March 6, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and again on Thursday, March 7, from 5:30 a.m. until approximately 8:30 p.m. for movie production work.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced this morning that the Parish Road and Bridge Department will be changing out a series of cross drains in high-traffic areas next week.

Miller said that due to the nature of the work, impacted roadways will be closed at the culvert sites from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The schedule for the week of March 4-8 is as follows:

Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews will close portions of Puls Road and East Cooper Road to change out drainage cross drains and complete ditching on Thursday, Feb. 7.

A portion of North Dummyline Road will be closed for several hours each day on Tuesday and Wednesday as Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews change out two drainage culverts.
