Tangi Alert - This is an emergency notification program will provide residents with alerts about any hazardous event. Messages will be sent to residents on their preferred contact paths - cell phone, SMS, home phone, email, fax, pager and more - to ensure real-time access to potentially lifesaving information.

Tangipahoa Emergency Preparedness - The Tangipahoa Parish Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness (TPOHSEP) is the coordinating agency for emergency and disaster activities.

GOOD NEWS!!! Barricades have been removed and traffic is once again moving across a new bridge on Sisters Road east of Ponchatoula as of Thursday afternoon. Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said the bridge opened a week ahead of schedule.
