I hope you all are staying healthy during this pandemic.  LERN has been supporting regional activities and response as best we can. Attached you will find a press release noting a decline of hospital activations for Stroke and STEMI patients that coincides with the onset of the COVID-19 crisis in Louisiana. As you all know, it is imperative the public seek medical treatment by calling 911 at the onset of signs of stroke or a heart attack. We are releasing this to various media outlets to try to get the message out.  Please share this with your professional and personal networks to amplify the message. Good Afternoon- Retailers are reporting a patchwork of restrictions across the state covering occupancy, operating hours, what items should be sold in essential retail stores, how many people can shop per basket, etc. In some circumstances these restrictions are being implemented at city or town level, while others are parishwide. It is becoming increasingly challenging for retailers that operate statewide to comply with so many different regulations. Many retailers have already implemented companywide restrictions that may exceed the following recommendations, but as an industry, we developed the following guidelines to consider for communities that see the need for enhanced measures (please see attached document also):
